Close to the foot of the Drakensberg Escarpment

We take to the sky in the early morning for a flight near the foot of the Drakensberg Escarpment.  The terrain is a mixture of farmland, private nature reserves and wildlife estates…the mountains to the west and south provide shelter from the prevailing winds, as well as providing a stunning backdrop to an almost perfect setting (photo opportunities). This is also home to large herds of game.
